Magura M1C lever

The primary advantage of this lever is a 50% reduction in actuation force. This means less fatigue, less arm pump and more endurance especially during high intensity race conditions.

Our innovative brake levers are engineered to reduce both finger fatigue and arm pump thus increasing endurance during high intensity conditions

A "shorty" lever length allows a one or two finger operation enabling you to squeeze the lever to the bar without releasing your grip with the rest of your fingers. Depending on the mounting position you employ, you can even go for a three finger grab when necessary.

Installation instructions

After removing the old lever, install our lever with the use of the OEM bush, pivot bolt and nut as shown in the diagram

Ensure the push rod from the master cylinder is correctly installed

if struggling with installation of the pivot bolt check that the push rod is centred and the disengagement is not in too far

if still struggling remove the lever stop adjustment bolt and install later

Run the bike to get it up to temperature then with the rider sat on the bike and the clutch pulled into the bars. Adjust the engagement adjuster until the bite point is as soon as you release the clutch

Finally adjust the lever stop adjustment until there is no play between the piston rod and the piston

Please note the bush, pivot bolt and nut are original on the bike and we do not supply them. if you require them please contact the bike manufacturer
